Claravine Completes SOC2 Type 1 Certification
At Claravine, we have the privilege of working with many of the most trusted global brands. Like them, security of customer data is one of our highest priorities. This has required that we put great security systems in place and partner with industry leading service providers. However, in today’s world our customers expect more than just our word that we are doing this, so we conducted an independent third party assessment to verify it.
As a result of this process, today I am pleased to announce that Claravine has attained SOC 2 Type 1 certification. This certification affirms that Claravine’s information security practices, policies, procedures, and operations meet the SOC 2 standards for security, availability, and confidentiality.
About SOC2 Compliance
Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 is an IT auditing program developed by the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) to evaluate the systems, policies and controls an organization uses to process data and to verify the suitability of this design and ensure security protocols are in place to protect the data. SOC 2 is the industry gold standard for data security and has become a requirement for vendors working with large enterprises. SOC 2 provides a means by which companies are able to certify that their vendors meet their own corporate governance and risk management requirements.
Feel free to visit the AICPA website to learn more about SOC 2.
What does this mean for our customers?
Claravine has been architected from the beginning by a team with a long history of data security, resulting from our experiences of managing large scale customer data at Adobe, Oracle and Domo. Data integrity has and will always be at the core of what we do, which means that we not only ensure our customers are able to trust their data, but are able to trust us with managing their data. Now, with SOC 2 certification, customers have additional assurance that we have the controls to protect against unauthorized access, theft or improper disclosure of their data within our platform.
Our relationship with our customers is built on trust, and this is one means of showing our commitment to continuing to earn this trust. We believe data standards are the foundation for achieving data integrity, and the data security standards we are employing are a measure of this for our customers.
